Stake Rakeback Calculator — What 5save Pays in 2026

By CodeCasinos Editorial Team · Published 2026-04-30 · Last reviewed 2026-04-30
Use the calculator below. Enter your weekly wagered volume, the RTP of the games you primarily play, and your VIP tier. The result is your estimated weekly rakeback in dollar terms — and how much extra the 5save boost adds. The math behind the numbers is on rakeback explained.

Total wagered volume per week, in USD equivalent.

96% for typical slots. 99% for Stake Originals. 99.5% for blackjack with basic strategy.

Estimated rakeback
Net house edge cleared / week
$40.00
Rakeback paid / week
$1.26
Annual rakeback (52 weeks)
$65.52
Effective rate of wagered dollar
0.126%
Extra from 5save boost / year
+$3.12

Estimates assume consistent weekly wagering at the chosen RTP. Actual results vary with game mix and tier-progression timing. Rakeback is paid in deposit-currency equivalent (BTC, USDT, etc.); USD figures are converted at spot. Not financial advice.

How to use this calculator honestly

Three input fields, three things to know:

  • Weekly wager. This is the total amount you bet per week, not your bankroll. If you bet $5 per spin and play 100 spins per session, three sessions per week, your weekly wager is $1,500. If you cycle the same $200 bankroll through 200 bets at $5 each, your weekly wager is still $1,000.
  • Game RTP. 96% for typical Pragmatic Play / Hacksaw / NetEnt slots. 99% for Stake Originals (Crash, Plinko, Mines, Dice). 99.5% for live blackjack with basic strategy. Mixed play? Use a weighted average of your time spent.
  • VIP tier. Bronze is reachable in 1-2 months for casual play; Gold takes 6-12 months at $5,000+ monthly wagering volume. Diamond is professional-grinder territory. See our VIP ladder guide for tier requirements.

What the calculator deliberately does NOT account for

Three caveats:

  1. Game contribution rates. Stake weights certain games differently for VIP XP and rakeback. Pure slot play counts at 100%; some live dealer at lower percentages. The calculator assumes 100% contribution.
  2. Tier transitions. If you cross a tier boundary mid-year, your effective rate is somewhere between the two tiers. The calculator uses your selected tier as a constant.
  3. Currency volatility. Rakeback is paid in your deposit currency (typically BTC or USDT). The USD figures shown are point-in-time conversions; if BTC moves 20%, your real-world rakeback value moves with it.

Why the boost looks small at low tiers

At Bronze tier with a 96% RTP slot mix, the 5save boost adds roughly $0.06 per $1,000 wagered. On a casual account doing $200 per week, that is about $0.012 per week — roughly $0.60 per year. The compounding becomes meaningful at higher tiers and higher wagering volumes. At Diamond tier with $50,000 weekly wagering on a 96% RTP mix, the 5save boost adds roughly $5,200 per year. The same percentage modifier behaves very differently at different scales.

Compared to other operators

The AskGamblers wagering reference is the cleanest cross-reference for how different operator bonus structures behave at different volumes. Match-bonus operators front-load value at signup but require wagering to clear; rakeback operators (like Stake) back-load value over time without wagering requirements on the rakeback itself. The calculator above lets you see the rakeback side cleanly; for match-bonus math, the AskGamblers wagering reference covers the equivalent calculations.

Skip rakeback math entirely if

  • You play recreationally for less than $50 per week. The math doesn't justify the cognitive overhead. Set a fun-budget, play within it, ignore rakeback.
  • You play primarily on low-edge games (live blackjack with basic strategy). The rakeback math runs against you — see Worked example 3 on rakeback explained.
  • You feel the rakeback math is encouraging you to wager more than you would otherwise. That is the failure mode this kind of calculator can produce. See responsible gambling.

Where this fits in the rest of the site

For the underlying math without the calculator, see rakeback explained. For tier-progression context, see the Stake VIP ladder guide. For the games that generate the most rakeback per dollar wagered, see Stake Originals. The 5save code itself is documented on the 5save promo code page.
